What others have saidWe've had a very enjoyable holiday here - the house is warm and comfortable with lots of little extra touches that make a diffeence. Very impressed with the house, this is one of the best Spanish Properties we have stayed in - everything just works! This is our second visit. We arrived to find the house warm and well equipped as before. The Ross FamilyThroughly enjoyed our holiday here and are sad to be leaving!! The weather has been great and the surrounding countryside has been awe inspiring. We've been very pleasantly surprised seeing so much greenery while driving through the mountains. The good facilities, friendly locals and fantastic scenery, all contributed to a wonderful, relaxing break for us.

A quick line to say all was wondereful on our visit to Cortes., The weather was excellent and we did 4 wallks from Cortes helped by Paco el taxista who faciltated our outings by running us to the start of walks.We made good use of the facilities and will certainly recommend the flat to family and friends.

back from holiday, we just want to send you this short note and tell you that we really had a good time in your house in Cortes. Unfortunately the days passed by much too fast...Greetings from Germany & Happy Easter, Just a note to say how much we enjoyed staying at La Pina. We owe a big debt to Nafieca who gave invaluable local knowledge about purchasing a new tyre and rain-cover for our Michael's stroller. Unfortunately, we have to apologise for breaking one of your wine-glasses. Angus - we found La Pina to be an excellent and very comfortable base Had a very pleasant week, it's a great time to come - with lots more sunshine and daylight hours than back home.The house is lovely, very well equipped in all areas (I liked having the books to read and I loved the extensive Big Country Selection). Had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. The locals are very friendly & Helpfull. The facilities at the apartment couldn't have been better & the weather for our stay was nice, the surrounding countryside is beautiful with some spectacular scenery. Enjoyed a wonderful week with baking temperatures for this time of year, great house and charming village. We had a wonderful time at La Pina by far the best equipped holiday home we have stayed in. You even had the latest Inceptor Rebus book that I nearly bought at the airport on the way out but I was already carrying too much so decided against it. Our daughter certainly kept us fit chasing her up and down the stairs and negotiating her buggy around the streets of Cortes. She quickly adopted the Spanish lifestyle - sleeping all afternoon and running around the square late into the night. We made good use of the pool at the camping ground in Jimera which was much quieter than the pool in Cortes. We have had a fantastic holiday in La Pina and Cortes. It has been great for walking. The people in Cortes have been so friendly we'll be in the area again soon. We have been very impressed with the house and all it's amenities - sheer luxury to have little extras such as Hair Dryer, Candles and Clock. Excellent visit, wonderful accommodation in a fabulous setting. I liked seeing a Tortoise in the road in Ronda, it was very small This is a wonderful place to be in Late Winter. The Home is lovely and provides perfect accommodation for 4 Adults - what a well equipped kitchen! Tremendous Stay - and we were very well provided for by la Pina & Cortes. After a week "walking Heaven" in the Sierra Nevada, La Pina had the difficult task of trying to better. But it passed it's test "cum laude". Finding a home in such a great environment but with all the modern comforts is rare in Spain. Three of us just completed a week in the best equipped and most tastefully firnsihed self catering home we have ever experienced. Everything anyone could possibly want was available it was truly a home from home. Another lovely week in La Pina, it's a great house to come home to after a days pottering or exploring this delightful region. What can I say other than "thank you" for sharing your lovely home with us - hope to be back next year for more adventures. Thank you for another lovely week in Cortes. All the arrangements went smoothly and we had a really lovely time again. You can be sure we shall want to return! The new kitchen is very smart. Just a brief note to say thank you for giving us the opportunity/privilege of staying at La Pina. This is just a short note to say that we had a fabulous time in La Pina, which we enjoyed very much. I meant to write much sooner and say what an excellent holiday we had in Cortes in October. La Pina we found extremely comfortable and well appointed and hope all was in good order when we left. We never did see Claire, but nor did we encounter any problems.
The home was lovely - and I have to say that log fire (once we got it to work!) and the lovely fluffy duvets and pillows were a god send. The highlight for us was Arcos - what a beautiful town - superior to Ronda to our mind. We went to Alcaucin for the second week (just north of Velez Malaga) and were rather disappointed - the mountains aren't half as beautiful as the ones around Cortes - far too over-developed. We would definately come back - we want to investigate Seville, Cadiz and the rest of the area. Thank you for all your help before our holiday - it really was a lovely stay. 10 out of 10. Oh yes - and thanks for the videos - we had a great time seeing some of the films (and blackadder) again. A lovely place to stay, such a pretty Apartment, we will miss this in Tokyo. Thank you we had a wonderful holiday - hope to come back soon. We had a great time at La Pina/Cortes. What superb accommodation! With just the two of us, and making little use of the kitchen, TV etc. it seemed a bit of a waste but it suited us perfectly. What a difference to come home from the coolness of La Pina to desperate attempts to keep cool, at somewhat lower temperatures in the UK. We have had a wonderful time staying in your lovely home "La Pina" and relaxing in the idyllic setting in a stunning part of Spain. We will take home lovely memories and lots of Photos, wish we could have stayed longer. The house is superb and the village is lovely, the locals all say hello to you (in Spanish of course). The Ex Brits are lovely and eager to help, eg Richard and Kirsty who own the English bar behind the water fountain in the village centre. El Gecko hotel has good food and a taxi can be arranged using the guy whos taxi sits opposite the information Centre - but book early. It's good fun working out menus in Restaurants, it helps i fyou have a dictionary! We look forward to coming back for another very pleasant stay. Just a quick note to say many thanks - we had a great holiday staying at La Pina last week. Cortes is in a lovely part of Andalucia and the accommodation provided by La Pina was very comfortable.
